Joe sits down with what may technically be the very first MetroidVania game shortly after very nearly dying in a car accident and talks mortality (ironically not tying that into the vampire theme), and, eventually, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, branding in politics, health care, insurance, how it’s not the end of the world that our favorite things are problematic, and how important, and why, it is to tell people we love them.

This was a very fun and life-affirming show for me. I love you all.

Joe sits down with a seminal and often-overlooked Metroidvania game based on an intellectual property it almost entirely abandons, pitches his hypothetical contractually-obligated sequel to The Goonies movie, pops some bubbles as a dragon, and punches some faces as a boxer from Brooklyn.

Craig and Joe play Rampart and FTL, then sing for a moment while talking inclusive language, mental health, LOST, comic book television and movies, and taking questions from chat. Paddy lay back.

Del and Joe engage with the weirdest sequel of all time, and then Del runs worlds while Joe talks the politics of hating things. Don’t worry. We fix the audio within the first few minutes.

In Joe’s first solo stream, Joe tackles FTL: Faster than Light, and tries to escape the rebel menace, making his way through a hostile galaxy filled with intrigue, accidents, and his co-host begging him to cloak.
