In the wake of Charlottesville, Joe gives his feelings on literal Nazis marching in 2017, then calms down long enough to play a fantastic fan-made nostalgia trip, Super Mario Crossover.

SJW Live — Secret of Mana – Three hours of leveling up.
Joe revisits a childhood favorite with amazing music for a, frankly, very boring stream wherein he learns that when there isn’t much substance to the game, you’d damn sure better have an active audience so there’s something to talk about. Go ahead and skip this unless you’re into Secret of Mana.
SJW Live — Thomas Was Alone – Week One
Joe plays an incredibly adorable puzzle platformer about AI programs getting to know one-another and learning to cooperate. It’s a very charming game featuring some very Douglas Adams writing with a bit of Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, but six of one, etc.
SJW Live — The Legend of Zelda – Can Joe beat this in three hours?
Joe plays the original Legend of Zelda and tries to beat it in three hours? Think he can get it done? Check it out.
SJW Live — Double Dragon
Hot off his car wreck and his first day at a new job, Joe checks in for the briefest of streams to play through a classic beat-em-up. Topics include damseling and the stream-of-consciousness of a man on his 14th consecutive hour of work. We’ve also made a very radical change to the game video that we think you’ll all love!
SJW Live — Castlevania II – Joe just got in a car wreck (Part 1)
Joe sits down with what may technically be the very first MetroidVania game shortly after very nearly dying in a car accident and talks mortality (ironically not tying that into the vampire theme), and, eventually, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, branding in politics, health care, insurance, how it’s not the end of the world that our favorite things are problematic, and how important, and why, it is to tell people we love them.
This was a very fun and life-affirming show for me. I love you all.
Thank you to everybody who showed up, and who watches in the future.
SJW Live — Goonies 2 – and Bubble Bobble and Punch Out
Joe sits down with a seminal and often-overlooked Metroidvania game based on an intellectual property it almost entirely abandons, pitches his hypothetical contractually-obligated sequel to The Goonies movie, pops some bubbles as a dragon, and punches some faces as a boxer from Brooklyn.
SJW Live — Rampart and FTL — and Singing and Politics
Craig and Joe play Rampart and FTL, then sing for a moment while talking inclusive language, mental health, LOST, comic book television and movies, and taking questions from chat. Paddy lay back.
SJW Live — Minecraft and politics – Week 2
Joe spends another relaxing week building his farm, mining, and trying to talk politics while maintaining his chill.
SJW Live — Metroid: Can Joe beat it in 3 hours?
In the wake of Del quitting, Joe tries to play a console game from the couch by himself. Do you like train wrecks? Strap in.
